In this book, authors Jim Hartness and Neil Eskelin provided life skills tools that one can use immediately:
* Set achievable goals
* Improve your self-esteem
* Increase your motivation
* Strive for excellence and integrity
* Develop humor and enthusiasm (I find it useful for me)
* Break bad habits
* Control Anxiety
* Use time and money wisely
* Take time for daily renewal (Important for me as I am learning to create
that habit for myself)
Another reason I find this book interesting is that it has spiritual references from the Bible. For example, Matthew 18:3 was mentioned, “Unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” Jesus knew that the child in us has unlimited faith, trust and creativity. Become a child again.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like a light reading with useful tips that they can apply immediately within 24 hours. It is also a good entry-level material for people looking for self-development.
